It is aged for 21 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, and bottled at cask strength. The whisky has a deep golden color and a nose of dried fruits, toffee, and oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex, with notes of dried fruits, toffee, and oak, as well as hints of spice and smoke. The finish is long and smooth, with a lingering sweetness. This whisky is best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water.
