Highland Park Valknut 750ml is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky from Orkney’s renowned Highland Park distillery. As the second release in the Viking Legend series, Valknutmeaning ‘knot of those slain in battle’pays homage to Norse mythology, with its symbol of three interlinked triangles representing fallen warriors.

Crafted with a higher proportion of Orkney-grown Tartan barley, this expression exhibits a slightly elevated peat level compared to its predecessor, Valkyrie. Matured predominantly in sherry-seasoned American oak casks, it boasts a nose of toasted vanilla pods, cracked black pepper, oak shavings, aniseed, and aromatic smoke. The palate reveals sweet, aromatic cloves complemented by tangy hints of aniseed, leading to a finish that is intensely balanced, bold, and courageous, leaving a lingering memory of aromatic peat smoke and sweet spices.

The bottle design, conceived by Danish designer Jim Lyngvild, reflects the distillery’s Viking heritage, featuring the distinctive Valknut symbol, which adds a touch of historical elegance to this exceptional whisky.
